About Cian-James

Cian-James Hoey was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 2022 after earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan's College of Law in 2021 and a Bachelor of Arts in urban studies from the University of Calgary in 2016. He also holds a certificate in global studies from the University of Saskatchewan, completed in 2018. Born and raised in Prince Albert, he joined Novus Law Group as a student-at-law in July 2021. His practice covers civil litigation, employment law, real estate, municipal law, wills and estates, family law, and commercial and corporate matters. He has received the Gerda R. Bloemraad Award for service assisting immigrants and refugees and the Advocates' Society Indigenous Rights Award for his engagement with Indigenous legal issues.
