Betsy Kane is a founding partner of Capelle Kane Immigration Lawyers who has practised Canadian immigration law since 1994. She began her career at Citizenship and Immigration Canada's National Headquarters in Ottawa before moving into private practice, where she now advises on corporate immigration matters. The Law Society of Ontario recognizes her as a Certified Specialist in Citizenship and Immigration Law, and she is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's National Immigration Section and the Ontario Bar Association's Immigration Section. She was called to the Ontario bar in 1991 after earning her LL.B. from the University of Windsor and a B.A. from McGill University. Kane speaks regularly at legal and industry conferences and has been recognized by Chambers and Partners, Lexology Index, Lexpert and Best Lawyers.
