About Barb

Barb Burford is the founder and a senior lawyer at Burford Law, now practising primarily in estate planning and real estate after decades focused on family law. She was the first female lawyer in the Napanee area, graduating from Queen's University Law School in 1983 and being called to the bar in 1986. She has served as an Office of the Children's Lawyer and as a part-time federal per diem Crown, and has been involved in the community as a Lioness, a mentor to a local high school's moot team, and a member of various local boards and committees.
