About Anthony
Anthony Gaetan Buttigieg has practiced law since graduating from the University of Ottawa's law school in 1987, and also holds a four-year honours degree in geography and planning from the same university. He began his career in Toronto at a large Bay Street firm of about 80 lawyers, working in wills and estates, corporate, commercial, and real estate law, before returning to Ottawa in 1996. Originally a full-service practice, AGB Lawyers now concentrates on family law and estate law under his direction, with an emphasis on personalized, client-focused service. He is a Trust and Estate Practitioner (T.E.P.) and a certified notary public, and belongs to the County of Carleton Law Association, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and the Law Society of Ontario. He is a frequent speaker at legal information seminars for seniors on topics including family law, wills and estates, and small business start-ups, and has been nominated three times for the Nepean Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year Award.
