About Andrew
Andrew Knott is an associate at Eisen Dyer LLP, having joined the predecessor firm, Cugelman and Eisen, in the spring of 2021. He defends clients facing charges ranging from minor theft to serious sexual assault, maintaining a busy practice of both private and legally aided matters. Andrew holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and a BA from York University. He articled with an experienced Toronto defence lawyer, gaining exposure to trial, appellate, parole, and social justice tribunal work. At Osgoode he concentrated on criminal law and took part in the Criminal Law Intensive program, which included a placement in a Toronto Crown Attorney's office. He received the Ian Scott Public Interest award and used it to intern in Durban, South Africa on constitutional litigation, and he volunteered with Fair Change Community Services providing pro bono representation.
