About Althea

Althea Mitchell is an internationally trained lawyer who focuses on immigration and family law matters in the Greater Toronto Area, Dufferin County, and Peel Region. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from York University, a Bachelor of Laws from Coventry University in the UK, and an LLM from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. Before founding her own practice, she worked as a legal assistant and legal research assistant at a Bay Street firm, with the Citizens Advice Bureau, and at a Toronto personal injury firm. She's also the founder of Impact Business Hub, a co-working space for women entrepreneurs partly funded by the Government of Ontario.
