About Adam

Adam Lachance is an associate lawyer at Jacob Gauthier Professional Corporation and a PPSC agent, focusing on criminal defence and prosecution in Espanola, Sudbury, and the surrounding Northern Ontario region. He is an Espanola native who returned home to practise after several years in Sudbury and Toronto. He earned his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2020, where he was a case worker with the Osgoode Innocence Project and completed the Intensive Program in Criminal Law at the Etobicoke Crown's Office. He articled at Lockyer, Campbell & Posner and worked as a student-at-law and summer student at Calvin Barry Professional Corporation before spending several years as an Assistant Crown Attorney in Sudbury and Toronto, prosecuting criminal cases including impaired driving and youth matters. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph, earned with distinction in 2015.
