About Collins & Cullen

Collins & Cullen is a small personal injury law firm in Vancouver that has worked exclusively for people injured in motor vehicle accidents since 1995. Noreen Collins and Leo Cullen, two senior lawyers who had each spent years handling injury claims at a larger firm, left to start the practice together that year and built it entirely around motor vehicle accident work. The firm has never represented ICBC or any other insurance company; it acts only for the injured.

Jeremy Thom, who was called to the bar in 2000, later joined the practice after spending 11 years at ICBC as an insurance defence lawyer, including time as one of its senior litigators. That background gives the firm a close, practical understanding of how ICBC handles and defends claims from the other side. Collins & Cullen takes on the full range of injury severity, from whiplash and soft tissue injuries to spinal cord damage and traumatic brain injury, works on a contingency basis with a free initial consultation, and offers services in Cantonese, Mandarin, Punjabi and Spanish in addition to English.
