Barbeau Evans LLP is a small Vancouver law firm that says on its own site it has served domestic and international clients since 1965. Its office is in a 19-story tower at 999 West Hastings Street, in the city's financial district. A firm blog post from March 2016 still referred to the practice as Barbeau Evans & Goldstein, and it has since continued on as the shorter Barbeau Evans LLP. Partner Garth M. Evans, K.C. was called to the British Columbia bar in 1975 and was formally invested as Queen's Counsel at Government House in Victoria in March 2016; Evans continues to focus on commercial real estate and non-profit housing work. Associate Morgan Best, called to the bar in 2016, handles business law, real estate, intellectual property, and estate and trust matters.
