About Arsenault Aaron

Arsenault Aaron is a small litigation firm based in downtown Vancouver, with an office on Granville Street. Three lawyers make up the practice, and the firm represents trade unions, individual employees and citizen groups in labour, employment, administrative and privacy law matters before courts and tribunals across British Columbia.

Theodore Arsenault has practised law since graduating from Dalhousie Law School in 1979 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1982. A former chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Labour Law Sub-Section for the BC Branch, Arsenault is recognized annually on the Best Lawyers in Canada list for labour and employment law. David M. Aaron, called to the Ontario Bar in 2002 and the British Columbia Bar in 2003, played a key role in brokering one of British Columbia's first industry-wide drug testing policies for the unionized construction industry and served as plaintiff counsel on the province's first certified environmental class action. The firm also acts as plaintiff counsel in class proceedings, including cases arising from the 2019 LifeLabs data breach and the 2013 Lemon Creek fuel spill, and keeps a niche practice serving clients in the music industry.
