About Artha Law

Artha Law is a firm on 137 Street in Surrey, British Columbia, founded by Digvijay S. Chauhan. Chauhan earned an LL.B. from the University of Delhi and spent a decade in the technology sector working with multinational corporations before immigrating to Canada. After completing the Juris Doctor equivalency process through the Federation of Law Societies of Canada and gaining experience in immigration, family, and civil law at a downtown Vancouver law firm, Chauhan was called to the British Columbia Bar in May 2024 and founded Artha Law with a focus on supporting clients from their first step into Canada onward.

The firm practises real estate, immigration, family law, civil litigation, wills and estates, and corporate and commercial law, and its lawyers also act as notaries. Its immigration work includes taking refused applications to judicial review at the Federal Court of Canada, and its real estate practice guides first time home buyers and investors through purchases in British Columbia. Associate lawyer Rejitha R. S. holds an LL.B., an LL.M., and an MBA in International Business from Trinity Western University, and brings close to two decades of family and civil litigation experience from India, along with licences to practise in both British Columbia and Ontario. Between them, Artha Law's lawyers serve clients in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, and French.
