Contreras McLennan Law Corporation is a family law firm based in Victoria, British Columbia, that describes itself on its own site as a well established mediation, arbitration and litigation practice with two decades of practice experience. Its principal, Paul McLennan, earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2003 and a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto in 2006, after an earlier Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba in 1985. Paul's legal career started at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP in Toronto, articling and then practicing as an associate in corporate commercial and real estate law. In 2006, Paul co-founded Contreras McLennan, Barristers & Solicitors, in Toronto's financial district, then moved the practice to Vancouver Island in 2011, first as McLennan Law Office and later reestablished under the current name.

Paul is accredited as both a mediator and an arbitrator by the Law Society of British Columbia, holds a notary public commission, and remains a member in good standing with the Law Society.
