Actus Law Corporation, operating as Actus Lawyers + Advisors, is a small law firm based in Victoria, British Columbia, that runs entirely online. Founder Robert A. Actus describes its focus as macro legal advisory. Instead of taking on family, criminal, personal injury, real estate, tax, or incorporation files, it works in wills and estates, shareholder and corporate governance matters, and bankruptcy consultations and discharges, and it also advises other lawyers. That side of the practice covers second opinions on files, help with conflicts and referrals, fee reviews for clients who are unhappy with what they have been billed, and support with trial preparation, drafting, and law office management.
