Shirish P. Chotalia, K.C. is a solo Edmonton law practice, also operating under the name Pundit & Chotalia, that combines litigation with mediation, arbitration, and notary services. Chotalia earned a J.D. in 1986 and an LL.M. in 1991 from the University of Alberta, was called to the Bar of Alberta in 1987, and was later admitted to the Bar of Ontario in 2010. The practice has offices in Edmonton and Toronto. It covers immigration law, employment and human rights matters, civil litigation and dispute resolution, and personal injury claims, and also defends professionals such as accountants, dentists, and medical laboratory technologists in disciplinary proceedings.

Before returning to private practice, Chotalia served as an elected Bencher of the Law Society of Alberta from 2008 to 2009, then as Chairperson of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal from 2009 to 2013, appointed with a unanimous endorsement from the House of Commons Justice Committee. That adjudicative experience carries into the mediation and arbitration side of the practice today, which uses the same customized, interest-based approach Chotalia developed at the Tribunal. Chotalia also works with clients in French, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati.
