Hoare Claxton is a criminal defence firm in downtown Calgary, made up of four trial lawyers who together bring more than 110 years of courtroom experience. The firm defends people charged across Alberta and also acts for clients throughout Western Canada and the territories, appearing at every level from the Alberta Court of Justice to the Court of King's Bench and the Alberta Court of Appeal. The practice is led by founding partner Peter A. Hoare, who has worked exclusively in criminal defence for three decades.
