Borlak Law is a law firm based in Stouffville, Ontario, founded by Steven Borlak with a focus on the property and casualty insurance industry. The firm has built more than 40 years of experience representing brokers, producers, and insurance companies across Ontario, and it keeps a separate phone line for its Toronto area clients alongside the Stouffville office. Its insurance law work covers producer agreements, non-competition and non-solicitation matters, mergers and acquisitions among brokerages, and succession planning for retiring brokers. The firm also handles general business and corporate law, real estate transactions, and wills, powers of attorney, and estate planning.

Steven Borlak's son, Jesse Borlak, joined the firm as an associate lawyer in 2019. Before earning an LLB from the University of Sussex, Jesse worked as a licensed insurance broker, giving the practice a second generation with direct experience inside the industry it now represents. In 2025, Borlak Law acquired the wills and estates practice of Button, Armstrong & Ness, taking on responsibility for that firm's stored wills and powers of attorney and offering to review those documents for former clients. The firm also runs an annual management seminar for insurance brokers, accredited for RIBO continuing education hours, and its lawyers periodically publish commentary on court decisions affecting the brokerage industry.
