Martins Law is a small, Vaughan based law practice founded by Victor Martins. Martins holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, where the founder graduated in the top 10 percent of the class and won prizes in first year tort law and upper year administrative law, along with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in criminology and sociology from York University, graduating summa cum laude. Before opening the firm, Martins worked at a national law firm.

The choice of practice area traces back to a father who spent over 35 years in the construction industry, starting as a bricklayer and building houses and entire subdivisions. Martins has described the goal as helping people move into homes like the ones that career helped build. Martins Law is also an official referral lawyer for LIUNA Local 183, and the firm offers notary public, commissioner of oaths, and independent legal advice services, in office or remotely.
