Jeffrey Shinehoft Personal Injury Law is a plaintiff only personal injury practice based in Vaughan, Ontario. Founder Jeffrey Shinehoft is a Law Society of Ontario Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation who spent about six years practising in Hamilton, then over half a decade at a Bay Street personal injury firm, before opening this practice in 2016. Shinehoft also works as an independent mediator, taking on cases referred by other lawyers and insurance companies, and is a current Director of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association as well as a member of the Toronto Law Association and the Hamilton Law Association.
The practice takes on car and bike accidents, catastrophic injuries, slip and falls, wrongful dismissal, and disability and product liability claims, acting only for injured plaintiffs rather than insurers or defendants. Associate lawyer Antonia Bosco joined the firm as a law student and stayed on through articling, earning a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and being called to the Ontario bar in 2019. Bosco has described choosing plaintiff side injury work after a family loss, an uncle, Mark Bosco, who was struck by a drunk driver as a youth. Law clerk Samantha Menniti, a Western University graduate with a Seneca College law clerk diploma, rounds out the team.
