About Camenzuli Workplace Law

Camenzuli Workplace Law is a Vaughan, Ontario firm that focuses on employment and labour law, founded by lawyer Daniel Camenzuli. Coming from a working class family, Camenzuli's interest in workplace law took root early, shaped by workplace challenges encountered personally, and grew into the focus of legal studies. Before opening the firm, Camenzuli practiced employment, labour and litigation law at two major downtown Toronto firms, acting for both employers and employees in workplace disputes.

That two sided experience carries into the firm's current practice, which still represents both sides of the employment relationship rather than just one. For employees, the firm handles severance package review and negotiation, wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, human rights complaints, disability accommodation and benefit claims, and WSIB claims and appeals. For employers, it drafts and reviews employment contracts and policies, defends wrongful dismissal and human rights claims, conducts workplace investigations, and represents businesses in Ministry of Labour and WSIB matters. The firm's own materials put its view plainly: even when an employer states a reason for a termination, that reason isn't automatically a lawful one.
