About Nichols Law Professional Corporation

Nichols Law Professional Corporation, known as NLPC, has served clients in Markham and York Region since 1983. The firm works out of an office on Main Street North in Markham and focuses on four areas: real estate transactions, wills and estate planning and administration, business and corporate law, and notary public services. Its lawyers are appointed by the Ontario Attorney General as notaries public, so the firm also handles affidavits, statutory declarations, and document certification alongside its transactional work.

NLPC is a family operation. Founding partner Graham Nichols was called to the bar in 1983 after graduating from Queen's University's law program and has practised on Markham's Main Street since 1993. Keith Nichols joined as a second generation partner after being called to the bar in 2016, having earned a law degree at Bond University in Queensland, Australia and articled at two smaller Toronto firms. Two associate lawyers round out the practice, and the firm describes its clients as ranging from individuals and families just starting out to growing families and small business owners across York Region and the GTA.
