Cattanach Hindson Sutton VanVeldhuizen LLP is a law firm based in Markham, Ontario. According to the firm, it's provided legal services in the community for more than 90 years. J. Lachlan Cattanach, called to the bar in 1953, joined the elder Cattanach's general practice to form Cattanach and Cattanach, and later served as Markham's municipal solicitor starting in 1955, successfully arguing an annexation case before the Ontario Municipal Board that let the town expand and attract its first major industry. The firm's name still preserves earlier partners: Cattanach, Hindson, Sutton and VanVeldhuizen.

The firm now handles real estate transactions, wills and estate planning and administration, corporate and commercial matters, employment law, personal injury claims, and small claims and administrative tribunal work, including matters before the Landlord and Tenant Board and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. Its lawyers were called to the bar between 1986 and 2021 and studied at schools including Queen's University, Osgoode Hall Law School and the University of Birmingham. One of the firm's lawyers has taught as an advocacy instructor at the Bar Admission Course, a Civil Litigation instructor at Humber College, and an Employment Law lecturer at Ryerson University.
