AJ Jakubowska is a small, specialized family law firm and family dispute resolution centre based in Aurora, Ontario, in York Region. It was founded in November 2009 to give separating and divorcing families a choice among litigation, mediation, and parenting coordination, rather than pushing every case toward court.

The firm's principal was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1996, after a law degree from the University of Windsor and undergraduate and master's degrees in history from the University of Toronto. Work at the firm covers decision-making responsibility, parenting time, child and spousal support, division of property, and domestic contracts such as marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements, and separation agreements. The firm also takes on parenting coordination once a separation agreement or court order is already in place, helping parents work through day-to-day disputes without going back to court each time.

Alongside its legal and mediation work, the firm produces the Sane Split podcast, a series of conversations with lawyers, mediators, financial advisors, and mental health professionals about the practical and personal side of separation. New episodes come out every two weeks, and the show deliberately steers away from legal jargon in favour of plain conversation.
