About Mariotti Law Group

Mariotti Law Group is a Windsor, Ontario firm founded in 1965 by Anthony 'Tony' Mariotti. For six decades it's advised Ontario families, lenders, developers, and business owners, and today it works from an office on Erie Street East. The firm now runs under two names from that office: Simplyclose handles residential real estate purchases, sales, and refinances, while Mariotti Law Group covers commercial real estate, estate planning and administration, mortgage enforcement, private lending, and corporate and commercial work. Both are operating names of Simplyclose Law Professional Corporation.

The estate planning side includes multiple wills strategies to reduce what goes through probate and Henson trusts for families with a member who receives disability support. On the lending side, the firm drafts mortgage and loan documents for private lenders and mortgage investment corporations and handles enforcement through power of sale, judicial sale, receivership, and foreclosure. Its real estate development work follows a project from land acquisition through zoning approvals to a registered plan, covering subdivisions, condominiums, and commercial and industrial sites.
