About Katzman Estate Law

Katzman Estate Law is a Windsor, Ontario firm that practices exclusively in estate litigation, probate, and estate administration, serving clients across the province. Founder Eric Katzman was born and raised in Windsor and earned an Honours Political Science degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2010, followed by a law degree from the same university's Faculty of Law in 2013. Katzman moved from personal injury litigation into estate disputes and is the founder of the firm.

The firm's work covers will challenges, executor and trustee removal applications, contested passings of accounts, dependant support claims, and disputes over joint and registered accounts, and it also takes on professional estate trustee roles in high conflict estates. Three more estate lawyers work alongside Katzman, supported by paralegals trained through St. Clair College programs. Katzman Estate Law offers free initial consultations and will take some litigation matters, such as will challenges and dependant support claims, on contingency instead of hourly billing. Alongside its Windsor office it keeps a staffed Toronto location and satellite offices in Chatham and Sarnia.
