Clarke & Co. was founded to give people a different, and hopefully better, experience of the law, building on the less conventional way its two lawyers, Daniel J. Clarke and Mackenzie L. Both lawyers are rooted in the area. Kitchener-Waterloo is Clarke's hometown, and Mohr was born and raised on a family farm in the rural area just outside it, still calls that community home and is proud to serve it.
The team aims for clarity, efficiency and real-world solutions, delivered with a sense of humour and a straightforward, down-to-earth style rather than anything stuffy or cold.

History
Daniel J. Clarke practised at Lowes, Salmon, Gadbois & Clarke for more than 8 years and took over Tim Lowes' Waterloo practice in 2020. Mackenzie L. Mohr, Clarke's first law student, later came back so the two could build and grow their shared vision.
When John Levesque, formerly of Levesque and Deane, retired in the fall of 2025, many of Levesque's clients and staff joined Clarke's practice. To make room, Clarke bought Levesque's office and renovated it.
Other lawyers have handed over their practices too. From Tim Lowes came Kitchener-Waterloo-area files on corporations, real estate, trusts, and wills and powers of attorney, and from Brent Salmon came wills and powers of attorney.
