Vilkhov Law Professional Corporation is an independent criminal defence firm based in downtown Toronto. It practices criminal law only, defending clients across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area against charges that range from impaired driving and assault to drug, firearm, and sexual offence matters. Founder Igor Vilkhov studied law at the University of Windsor, focusing on criminal law, and worked at another Toronto criminal defence firm before opening a private practice. The firm says it's been representing clients in Ontario and the GTA for over a decade.

The team stays small. Igor Vilkhov works alongside lawyer Benson Wilson, who studied global and international studies at Carleton University, earned a law degree at the University of Ottawa, and practiced immigration law before moving into criminal defence. A law student rounds out the roster. Instead of billing by the hour, Vilkhov Law negotiates a flat fee at the start of a case, offers a free initial consultation, and helps clients apply for Legal Aid where that's an option. The firm also represents clients accused of coercive control, a newer area of criminal law in Canada where prosecutors build a case from a pattern of behaviour rather than a single incident.
