Siegal Tax Law and Siegal Law share one Toronto office at First Canadian Place on King Street West, but they are two separate practices under one roof. Siegal Tax Law was founded by Brandon Siegal and handles tax dispute resolution exclusively. Siegal Law, run by Alan Siegal, covers real estate, leasing, and corporate commercial work. The two ended up sharing space after Alan Siegal's previous firm, Kestenberg Siegal Lipkus LLP, wound down at the end of 2022 after more than 40 years, and Alan Siegal moved on to an individual practice.

Brandon Siegal's path to the tax bar started with a clerkship at the Tax Court of Canada, followed by four years at McCarthy Tetrault LLP and, from 2006 to 2011, a posting as counsel to the Department of Justice representing the Canada Revenue Agency on more than 600 litigation files. Alan Siegal's practice draws on decades representing businesses from startup through growth to an eventual sale, work that in recent years has extended into renewable energy and cannabis matters. Siegal Tax Law describes itself as built to skip the overhead of a large downtown practice in favour of direct, fixed-fee work.
