SDR Law is a solo criminal defence practice in Toronto, founded in 2020 by Solange Davis-Ramlochan. The firm represents adult and youth accused persons across the Greater Toronto Area at every stage of a criminal case, from bail hearings through to trial. It handles a wide range of criminal and quasi-criminal charges, from theft and assault to firearms and drug offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, along with matters under the Highway Traffic Act and, at the most serious end, murder. Before opening SDR Law, the firm's founder articled at Ontario's largest criminal defence firm and was later hired back as a partner at Rusonik, O'Connor, Robbins, Ross and Angelini LLP, working on cases involving aggravated assault, firearms offences, robbery, fraud, and forcible confinement. Davis-Ramlochan earned a law degree from the University of Toronto in 2017 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018.
