Stephen Jack Criminal Lawyer is a solo criminal defence practice based in Toronto, serving clients across North York, Scarborough, and other areas of the city. The practice is led by Stephen P. Jack, who holds an LL.B. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Before law school, Jack completed a Master of Social Work at York University, a Bachelor of Social Work at Ryerson University, and the Social Service Work program at Sheridan College, and worked at a mental health agency in Toronto and at the Hamilton Children's Aid Society. Jack later worked at the Toronto firm McMahon Raine before opening this independent practice.

The firm handles a wide range of criminal charges, including assault, domestic assault, and sexual assault, impaired driving, drug offences, fraud and other white collar matters, theft, robbery, and youth criminal cases, along with bail hearings and breaches of probation. Jack points to the social work background as a way of understanding how mental health, addiction, poverty, and cultural background can intersect with a criminal case, and describes the approach as built on strong communication with clients, Crown counsel, and court staff.
