Levitan Lawyers is a one-lawyer firm run by Jerry Levitan, with an office in Etobicoke. The practice centres on liquor licensing law for Ontario's hospitality industry. That work covers new liquor licence applications and transfers, modifications to existing licences, and capacity and area expansions. The firm also defends applications against objections, represents clients in disciplinary matters before the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), and handles appeals to the Licence Appeal Tribunal. Its clients range from restaurants, bars, and clubs to music venues, theatres, hotels, catering halls, and event spaces, and the firm describes itself as having more than thirty years of experience in the industry.

Levitan earned a B.A. from York University and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 1979, then went on to practise liquor licensing law and other areas of law. Outside the practice, Levitan produced I Met the Walrus, an animated short film about a childhood meeting with John Lennon, which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2008 and won a Daytime Emmy in 2009.
