About Androu Gerges Law

Androu Gerges Law is a North York firm given over entirely to criminal defence. Its caseload runs from drinking and driving and domestic assault charges to firearm possession and drug offences, and the practice also advises victims of crime, witnesses and people who may be under police investigation.

Androu Gerges opened the firm in 2017, right at the start of a career in criminal law. Androu Gerges studied at Osgoode Hall Law School, entering with the Benjamin Laufer entrance scholarship, and joined Osgoode's Criminal Intensive program, then run by Justice Rondinelli of the Ontario Court of Justice and Justice Di Luca of the Superior Court of Justice. Through that program came a placement with a Toronto criminal defence firm, and the final summer of law school was spent at the College Park Crown Attorney's office.

Androu Gerges has run criminal trials and appeals through every level of Ontario's courts, from the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice up to the Ontario Court of Appeal. Law clerk Elaine Balboa keeps client files and disclosure organized, helps with court appearances and sets up client meetings and jail visits.

The main office is at Yonge and Sheppard, in Suite 1101 at 4789 Yonge Street, and there are satellite offices close to major Ontario courthouses. Androu Gerges Law commits to working outside 9-to-5 hours.
