About Cameron Law

Cameron Law is a small law firm based in downtown Orillia, Ontario, on the shores of Lake Couchiching. Matt Cameron founded the practice as Cameron Business Law in 2012, building a practice in corporate, commercial, and tax work for businesses in the Barrie, Orillia, and Muskoka region. Matt Cameron earned a law degree from Dalhousie Law School in 2008 and articled at a corporate and commercial law firm in Toronto before starting the Orillia practice.

Thea Cameron also earned a law degree from Dalhousie in 2008, was called to the bar in 2009, and worked at Galbraith Family Law in Barrie before joining the firm. The two are married and, according to the firm's about page, left downtown Toronto to settle with their family in lake country; Thea Cameron grew up in Orillia and returned there. Their partnership turned Cameron Business Law into Cameron Law and added residential real estate and wills, estates, and powers of attorney work alongside the original corporate and commercial practice. The office is at 8 Peter St. South, in a building the firm calls historic, on a stretch of downtown Orillia that the region's tourism board promotes as the city's Arts District.
