Erik Van Drunen joined the firm after working at a national law firm in Kitchener-Waterloo, and represents clients at trial in the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, along with appeals to the Ontario Court of Appeal. Kirsten Van Drunen has practiced criminal law for 15 years, including jury trials in serious criminal matters such as murder trials, and also leads the firm's witness counsel work, which guides victims and witnesses, particularly in sexual assault cases, through the court process and helps them find out whether they qualify for Legal Aid.

The firm's caseload covers offences ranging from impaired driving and drug charges to domestic assault, theft, youth matters, sexual assault, and homicide, plus conviction and sentence appeals.
