Swiader Law Firm is a solo practice in Mississauga, not a large multi-lawyer operation. It's run by Ania Swiader, a notary public. The firm focuses on residential real estate, including purchases, sales, refinancing, private mortgages, and new home closings, along with wills, powers of attorney, and estate administration. It also offers notary public services such as commissioning oaths and affidavits and certifying true copies of documents. Swiader holds an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.A. (Hons.) in Spanish and Italian from the University of Toronto, and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2002.

A native of Poland, Swiader immigrated to Canada in 1992 and practices in English, Spanish, and Polish. That's why the firm's site is also published in Polish and Spanish versions. Before opening this practice, Swiader worked in a variety of legal settings across several areas of law. The firm says its approach is honest, transparent, and accessible. It doesn't bill by the hour for real estate or wills and estates work; instead, it uses a flat fee.
