Seaker Law Professional Corporation is a Mississauga firm built around a fractional in-house counsel model rather than the traditional hourly-billing practice. Instead of a one-time retainer, the firm says it embeds with a client's team on a flat monthly fee covering a set number of hours, with onboarding across departments to map out risk and support needs. Its practice spans corporate and commercial work, employment law, immigration, international trade, mining law, transportation regulation, privacy and technology law, procurement, and civil litigation, aimed mainly at businesses that want ongoing legal support without a full-time in-house team.

Founding partner Khalid Khan holds an Honours LL.B from the University of Sussex and an Honours B.A from the University of Toronto and is licensed to practise law in Ontario. Before being called to the bar, Khan worked with TD Bank, the Government of Ontario, and the Government of Canada, and represented Canada at the World Trade Organization as an Ambassador to the 2030 Trade Forum under the Young Diplomats of Canada Mission, coordinating bilateral meetings on market access. Khan also worked on proposed reforms to the United Nations Dispute Tribunal and Appeals Tribunal that reached the UN's Sixth Committee. The wider team adds a lawyer licensed in Russia as well as Ontario, a lawyer licensed in New York as well as Ontario, and counsel on Dominican Republic infrastructure and energy matters, giving the firm reach beyond one jurisdiction.
