About Rameh Law

Rameh Law is a small law firm founded by Sodaba Rameh, concentrated on Canadian immigration and refugee law with additional real estate and wills and estate planning services. Rameh worked as a criminal defence lawyer in Brampton, Milton, Orangeville, Newmarket, and Toronto before starting the firm. Rameh holds an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School, an LL.B. from the University of Kent, and a B.A. (Hons.) in Law, Society and English Literature from York University.

The immigration practice covers Express Entry (Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, and Canadian Experience Class), family and spousal sponsorship including refused applications, refugee protection claims and appeals to the Refugee Appeal Division, humanitarian and compassionate applications, business and investor immigration through provincial nominee programs, and criminal inadmissibility work such as rehabilitation applications. On the real estate side, the firm handles residential purchases, sales, mortgage refinancing, and title transfers. Its wills and estates work includes drafting wills and powers of attorney for personal care and property, plus naming a guardian for minor children.

The firm's listed office is a shared professional workspace in Mississauga rather than a building it owns, and it keeps by appointment meeting space in Oakville and downtown Toronto so clients from other parts of the GTA don't always have to travel to Mississauga.
