About Oei Law

Oei Law is a solo immigration law practice run by Peggy Oei from an office suite in Mississauga's City Centre. Oei earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences in International Studies and Modern Languages, with French and Spanish, from the University of Ottawa in 2008, then a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2011, and was called to the bar in 2012. Oei then spent close to a decade practising immigration law at a full-service immigration firm before opening Oei Law.

The practice covers Canadian immigration matters only. It handles temporary residence work such as visitor visas, study permits, and work permits, permanent residence sponsorships for spouses, children, and parents, humanitarian and compassionate applications, citizenship applications and proof of citizenship, and inadmissibility matters including criminal rehabilitation and record suspension applications. Oei Law represents clients before all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court of Canada, and Oei speaks English and Cantonese with clients.
