About Mangat Law Office

Mangat Law Office is a small law firm with offices in Mississauga and Hamilton, Ontario, handling immigration, criminal defence, family law, civil litigation, real estate, and wills and estates matters. The firm's director, Gurpreet Singh Mangat, is a barrister, solicitor, and notary public and a member of the Law Society of Ontario. Mangat entered the legal profession in 1983 as a law student at the Department of Laws, Punjabi University in Patiala, India, and was called to the Ontario bar in June 2017.

The team also includes Manbani Ohri Duggal, a lawyer licensed in both Ontario and Alberta with a law degree from Panjab University in Chandigarh, who completed Canada's National Committee on Accreditation process and now practices immigration law, civil and construction litigation, and wills and estates. Duggal wrote the ITL Prep Manual, published through Emond, and hosts an educational YouTube channel called Your Canadian Lawyer. Dilawar Singh Mangat, a legal assistant with a law degree from Panjab University's UILS, is going through the Law Society of Ontario's lawyer licensing process and works on criminal law, immigration, and traffic tickets.
