Kotak Law is a personal injury and long term disability firm founded by Nainesh Kotak, who was called to the Ontario bar in 1994 and later to the Alberta bar in 2022. A 2020 firm announcement said the practice had been in business for 26 years at that point, which lines up with that 1994 call to the bar. The firm started with three offices, in Mississauga, Brampton, and Toronto, and has since added locations across Ontario and into Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. Kotak Law represents claimants only, never insurers, and works on a contingency fee, so clients pay legal fees only when a case settles or succeeds.

The practice concentrates on long term and short term disability denials, CPP disability appeals, and personal injury claims arising from car accidents, slip and falls, and catastrophic or sexual abuse injuries, including depression and anxiety disability claims. Four lawyers currently practice there: Kotak, Kaity Yang, Rajiv Hate, and Avinaash Laljie, backed by a team of law clerks. Kotak has chaired the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association's Long Term Disability Section, helped create the association's Diversity and Inclusion Caucus, and serves as president of the board of Every Mind Mental Health Services.
