The firm covers a broad slate of everyday legal work rather than a single specialty: real estate, corporate and business law, wills and estate planning, probate, notary and affidavit services, and family law matters such as pre-nuptial agreements, divorce, and parenting plans. That range lets the firm act for a client buying a first home, incorporating a small business, or settling a family estate without sending any of them elsewhere.

On the real estate side, the firm handles residential and commercial purchases and sales, mortgages and refinancing, agreement of purchase and sale reviews, status certificate reviews, and pre-construction assignments, and it offers to match a lower quote a client finds for the same transaction. Its corporate practice covers incorporations, shareholder and partnership agreements, and not-for-profit and charity matters. JKM Law keeps its office open seven days a week, including evenings, and it offers mobile notary and affidavit service anywhere in the GTA, meeting clients where it's convenient instead of requiring an office visit for a simple signing.
