CTL Law is a Canadian law firm built around debt collection and recovery, pairing lawyer oversight with a technology-driven process. Rather than working purely as a traditional litigation firm or a stand-alone collection agency, it splits the work three ways: its lawyers supervise and make the legal decisions, a collections team handles day-to-day contact and negotiation with debtors, and a case-management platform the firm calls Nucleus tracks each file from a first notice through to enforcement.

The firm's work runs the full length of a receivable's life, from first-party and third-party collection contact through legal demand letters, litigation, and enforcement steps such as garnishment, writs of seizure and sale, and asset repossession under the Personal Property Security Act. It's led by President and CEO Francois Sauvageau, with Daniel Bazan as Executive Vice-President overseeing day-to-day collection operations. CTL Law currently lists offices in Mississauga, Ontario and Laval, Quebec, and its client base spans industries including financial institutions, landlords, law firms, accounting firms and trustees, telecommunications and utility providers, universities and colleges, and the transportation and oil and gas sectors.
