About Baig Law Firm

Baig Law Firm is a Mississauga law firm founded by Abbas M. Baig, a barrister and solicitor. Baig holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and a master's and a bachelor's degree, both with honours, from the University of Guelph. Before opening the firm, Baig articled at a civil litigation firm in Ontario, working on personal injury and insurance defense files, and earlier served as Chief of Staff to a federal Member of Parliament and as an advisor to cabinet ministers in the Government of Ontario. The firm was founded in 2021 and works out of an office on Queen Street South in Mississauga's Streetsville neighbourhood.

The firm concentrates on personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, dog attacks, and slip and falls, alongside real estate transactions for first time buyers and commercial purchasers, immigration matters, and business work such as contract drafting and franchise agreements for franchisors and franchisees. Baig has more than six years of experience in Canadian immigration law and has represented clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board and in Federal Court judicial reviews. The firm serves Mississauga along with nearby communities including Oakville, Milton, Brampton, Toronto, Hamilton, Kitchener, and Waterloo, and it runs a personal injury hotline for urgent calls.
