About Atlas Law Group

Atlas Law Group is a Mississauga based firm that launched in 2014 with a plan to cover business, real estate, immigration and litigation work under one roof. Its head office sits on Matheson Boulevard West in Mississauga's Heartland Corporate Centre, a business park along the Hurontario corridor, and the firm also keeps offices in downtown Oakville and in the Richmond-Adelaide Centre in Toronto's financial district. A small team, roughly nine lawyers, consultants and business professionals, handles the firm's caseload, with credentials drawn from schools in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.

The practice covers business and commercial transactions, real estate deals and disputes, immigration matters from Express Entry to sponsorship and inadmissibility cases, civil litigation, mortgage enforcement, wills and probate, family law, and professional licensing and discipline work in front of Ontario regulatory bodies. Atlas Law Group also lists a regional director based in Ottawa who extends its reach into the National Capital Region. Founder Jia Junaid leads the firm as Principal and Managing Lawyer, and the practice leans on video conferencing, e-signing and client portals to serve people who can't easily get to one of its three Ontario offices in person.

The neighbourhood

The Mississauga office is inside the Heartland Corporate Centre on Matheson Boulevard West, a cluster of low rise office buildings along the Hurontario corridor that's become one of the city's main business park addresses. It's a working office park rather than a storefront main street, which fits a firm whose day to day work is business, real estate and immigration filings rather than walk in traffic.

The Toronto office is a different setting entirely: 130 Adelaide Street West is part of the three-tower Richmond-Adelaide Centre complex, in the heart of the financial district, reclad with reflective glazing in a 2019 renovation. In Oakville, the firm's suite at 277 Lakeshore Road East sits at the corner of Lakeshore and Trafalgar in the downtown core.
