Abbas Law is a Mississauga, Ontario firm focused on Canadian immigration and tax law. It's a small practice built around Muhammad Abbas, a lawyer licensed by the Law Society of Ontario who is also a registered authorized representative with Canada's immigration and tax departments. Abbas holds a PhD in Law from Queen's University and an LLM from the University of Florida, earning the Academic Excellence award there, along with an MBBS medical degree and LLB. Abbas is also certified by Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue as an income tax practitioner, which lets the firm advise on the Canada-Pakistan tax treaty for clients with income or family ties in both countries.

The firm represents clients in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency and the Canada Border Services Agency, including income tax and GST/HST objections, appeals, tax debt settlement, and audits, and it takes matters as far as the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court when needed. On the immigration side it handles study permits, work permits, visitor visas, citizenship applications, Express Entry, family sponsorship, and refusal appeals. Abbas has also co-authored a chapter on Canadian taxation in a book published by Kluwer Law International. Consultations are offered in English, Urdu, Pashto, and Punjabi.
