Moon Gensey LPC, formerly registered as Michael Moon Criminal Law Corp., was a criminal defence firm based in Brampton, Ontario, working from County Court Law Chambers on County Court Boulevard. The firm was founded and led by Michael A. Moon, who holds a B.A. (Hons.) from Laurentian University, an LL.B. from Queen's University's law school, and an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Moon's practice concentrated on long, contested criminal trials, primarily homicide and other crimes against the person, with appearances at every level of court in Ontario as well as the Supreme Court of Canada and the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench and Court of Appeal. Moon acted as counsel in the 'Toronto 18' terrorism trial in Brampton and the 'Bandidos' mass murder trial in London, Ontario, and by the firm's own account had carriage of approximately 60 homicide trials over the course of a career focused on homicide defence.

Leah Gensey joined the firm in July 2015 as a student-at-law, was called to the Ontario bar in June 2016, and went on to become a named firm litigator. Gensey holds an Honours degree in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph, earned in 2012, and a Juris Doctor from Queen's University, earned in 2015. Gensey's practice covered homicide cases, drug prosecutions, robberies, sexual assault matters, and appeals, along with the family law issues that sometimes followed the criminal charges facing clients. As appellate counsel in R. v. Weaver, argued before the Ontario Court of Appeal in the fall of 2020, Gensey secured a reduced four-year sentence for a first-time offender convicted of possessing fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, a ruling later cited in other drug sentencing cases. By 2025 the firm's team also included Nicole DeBellefeuille, Amina Djukic, who was called to the Ontario bar in 2024 after an LLB from the University of Leeds, and Emilia Khalil, who joined as a student-at-law in January 2025 after an LLB in Common Law from the University of Birmingham.
