AshLaw Professional Corporation is a small, immigration focused law firm based in Brampton, Ontario. It's led by Ashwani Sharma, a lawyer licensed to practice in both Canada and India, who holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School and an LL.B. and M.A. from Panjab University in Chandigarh. Sharma belongs to the Law Society of Ontario, the Peel Law Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, and started a legal career in India practicing criminal law before moving into immigration work in Canada.

The firm handles refugee claims, immigration applications, corporate law, real estate transactions, wills and powers of attorney, and notary and attestation services. Its refugee law work covers hearings before the Immigration and Refugee Board, appeals to the Refugee Appeal Division and Federal Court, Pre-Removal Risk Assessments, and Humanitarian and Compassionate applications. Rather than billing by the hour, AshLaw prices its work on a project basis and offers payment plans. The office also includes Isha Soni, who coordinates immigration files, previously worked at an immigration firm in Oakville, and taught as an assistant professor before that.

Outside law, Sharma competed in boxing at the university level, winning a bronze medal at a university championship along with gold medals in district level competitions.
