Downs Barristers & Solicitors is a two lawyer firm based in downtown London, Ontario, operating since 1972, with a second office in Glencoe. The firm splits its work between a barrister practice, covering civil litigation, personal injury, and mortgage remedies for private lenders, and a solicitor practice covering real estate, private lending, wills and estates, and corporate matters. Between its two lawyers the firm counts more than 60 years of combined legal experience.

M. Paul Downs was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1972 after earning a BA and LLB from the University of Western Ontario, and has practiced law for more than 50 years. Paula Downs joined the Ontario Bar in 2009, holding a BA (Hons) from Western and a JD from Bond University. The litigation side of the practice has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Tax Court of Canada, and the Supreme Court of Canada, and the mortgage remedies work centers on representing private lenders in foreclosures, powers of sale, and enforcement against defaulting mortgagors.
