About Castillo Law Chambers

Castillo Law Chambers is a solo civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution practice based in London, Ontario, run by Michel Castillo, Barrister and Solicitor. Castillo was called to the bar in Alberta in 1998 and represented clients at every level of Alberta's courts and in the Federal Court before moving to Ontario and being called to the bar there in 2004. Castillo holds a BA in History and Geography from Western University, plus an LLB and an LLM in Commercial Law from Cardiff University, and immigrated to Canada from Guatemala at age 15.

The practice represents individuals, small businesses and large corporations, drawing on more than 27 years of litigation and dispute resolution experience. Castillo Law Chambers handles civil and commercial litigation along with intellectual property, employment and other commercial matters, and turns to mediation or arbitration when that route serves a client better than a trial. Castillo also teaches law related courses at Fanshawe College's Lawrence Kinlin School of Business, has presented continuing legal education programming for other lawyers, and belongs to the London Chamber of Commerce, the Leading Edge Network and Business Network International.
