Van Looyen and Fallon Professional Corporation is a family law firm in downtown Hamilton, Ontario, serving Hamilton, Brantford, and the surrounding areas. It's built around two partners: Emily Van Looyen, who has practiced family law for eight years, and Patrick Fallon, who has more than eight years of family law experience. Both regularly appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Unified Family Court. Its work covers the full range of family law matters: parenting time, decision making, child and spousal support, property division, divorce, adoption, child protection proceedings, and domestic contracts such as separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, and marriage contracts.

Emily Van Looyen is a trained Collaborative Practice professional and is empaneled as an agent for the Office of the Children's Lawyer. The firm offers collaborative family law as an alternative to litigation, working alongside coaches and financial specialists to reach an agreement outside of court, an approach it describes as generally less costly and less stressful than litigating. Patrick Fallon handles domestic contract preparation as well as litigation and tends to encourage settlement where possible. Together, the partners bring more than a decade of combined experience in property division and in child protection proceedings.
