S. Athwal Law is a solo criminal defence practice founded by Sahej Athwal, who was called to the Ontario bar in 2022 after completing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Osgoode Hall Law School. Athwal is a member of the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) and an active member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association, and appears at trial in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. The practice covers a wide range of Criminal Code work, including assault, impaired and dangerous driving, sexual offence charges, weapons and firearms offences, drug charges, property offences, youth criminal justice matters, bail hearings, and breach allegations.

The firm keeps offices in Mississauga and Hamilton, both open 24 hours, and appears at courthouses across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond, including Toronto, Brampton, Oakville, Newmarket, and Milton. Services are offered in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu, so clients from Ontario's Punjabi speaking communities can discuss a case in the language they're most comfortable with. Sahej Athwal is also listed in Legal Aid Ontario's directory of criminal lawyers. The firm offers a free initial consultation and discusses fees and payment plans with clients before they commit to retaining it.
